One time, when I was a young man, I had the unfortunate experience of looking out the back window of a car as it was racing away from a dark moon lit scene and seeing a shotgun blast coming right at me. I ducked and then the rear window went into a million pieces and ...whew....I was ok.
It was easy to see how that whole incident developed, there was plenty of blame to go around and thanks to all involved behaving fairly it all worked out. We find now that our country is in a similar situation. Plenty of blame to pass around and plenty of bad things have gone on. Now we just need for it all to work out and get back to some form of Normal.
I've been reading some good books about the Bush Administration. The three books about "Bush at War" by Woodward, and the "Angler" by Barton Gellman are all just too eye opening and full of facts about how this past administration operated to explain here. I will say that as a past supporter of Bush I have been very disappointed. I've been lied to, I've been mislead intentionally, and mislead by stupidity.
Do I want trials? Do I want Congressional Committees with endless hearings with outcomes of perjury? No . looking back and spending valuable time and resources will really not improve our future. We need to move forward and get this America thing so that it its working ...not like it used to ...but lets do it right this time.
