Thursday 2/5/2009 Our new president gave three speeches. At a prayer breakfast in the morning, greeting the Department of Energy, and Addressing the Democrats at their retreat for House members he gave speeches that I found inspiring.
His statements on religion always include all faiths, including the non-believers. He finds common ground that we can all embrace. He has a strong faith and I am glad that he speaks to all Americans .
When he spoke to the Energy department he was very forceful in his projection of his version of the stimulus plan. Rejecting the Republican views that have driven our country's economy for the last 8 years. Really showing leadership and saying the the republicans can't be serious in their old ways of leading our country.
