The Right is Wrong on the New Deal

The Right wing, which usually in my sphere is Boortz and Rush, have said for years that FDR's New Deal prolonged the Great Depression rather than help stop the decline. Now this is exciting stuff. But this kind of talk just blows me away because it is said with such certainty and such over-riding knowledge. These talk show and Fox news types just will say anything to carry the day.

Thr truth is what I learned in college and what I read in William Manchester's "The Glory and The Dream"; FDR saved us from all kinds of bad things. And were we not moving forward with the policies of FDR we certainly would have not been able to defeat Facism. Never does the Right even talk about that aspect of that great leader.
